Hi Can anyone decipher this place in Middlesex ?
Hasland Hapsland ?
This little girl of 4 is living in Nottinghamshire on the 1851 - she is name Anne Wilbraham
Can you read her relationship to head of family
It says daughter's ? niece ? The elder daughters in the same household are unmarried

Hi,
As a first attempt, the only place that I can think of is Poplar . . . if the handwriting was very bad 
and I think the relationship is Grand daughter, even if the daughters are unmarried 
"Grand" was written first, with "daughter" written above to avoid overflowing the column

Not much help I am afraid but place looks like Haplas although some times what looks like a p is an s and I agree the first letter of relationship looks like a G something like Grau or Giaire
