Pearson in Beeston
« on: Wednesday 06 February 08 21:46 GMT (UK) »

I'm searching for info on John Pearson who I believe was born in Beeston.
He married Elizabeth Nelis in Nottingham in 1728 and had at least 2 children that were born in Beeston

Mary in 1734 and John in 1730

Any help would be very welcome.

Thanks

Hi Helen

For some reason it wasn't easy to find on the database:

Edward 19.10.1728 Fathers Occ. Husbandman
John 26.4.1730                                  "
Thomas 2.12.1731                       Labourer
Mary  21.7.1734                               "
Eizabeth 6.6.1736                            "

This is all I can find but there may be more or some may have died at birth/stillborn in which case in those days they didn't count as babies. They could have moved to another parish. I cannot find any relevant deaths but these have not been transcribed as widely as B & Ms.

Thanks Jane

That's a great help, you've found me some children I didn't know of.
