Trying to link up some more Lock's I have found this family and I wondered if anyone knows anything about them.
William Austin married Sarah Lock 21/12/1835 St Thomas Portsmouth and as far as I can find at the moment they had the following children on the Isle of Wight.
Mary Estmeralda Austin ch.1838 Newchurch
Jessie Jane Austin ch.1843 Newchurch
Alfred Augustus Austin b.1848
Florence Taylor Austin b.1855
Gertrude Rosina Austin b.1856
There may have been at least 4/5 other boys and another girl, I only have access at the moment to the 1881 census and was unable to find any of them there, does anyone recognise any of the names or know where they were before 1881.

From the information that Emma found I have been able to add a little more to this branch.

Alfred Augustus Austin married Charlotte Evans 1868 children
Percy Augustus Stanfield Austin 1868
Horace Theodore Austin 1872
Edgar Archibald Austin 1873
Wilfred Ethelbert Austin 1874
Violet Elfrida Austin 1882
Jessie Jane Austin married Rowland James Loader 1868 Portsmouth, in the 1881 census they were living at 86 High Sreet Portsmouth, Rowland was a Harness maker and they had the following children with them
Louis Loader 8 (1873) born St Pancras Middlesex although I
found a christening for Louis Charles Loader 25.5.1873 All
Saints Ryde Isle of Wight parents Rowland and Jessie.
Ethel Loader 6 (1875) born St Pancras Middlesex
Jessie Austin 5(1876) born Clapham Surrey
The Ella J Loader 11(1870)born St Giles London that was living with William and Sarah Austin in the 1881 census was christened Ella Jessie Loader 25.9.1870 All Saints Ryde Isle of Wight.
Mary Estmeralda Austin married Henry J Exton
children born on the Isle of Wight
Lizzie Exton 1861
Harry Joseph Exton 1866(living with William and Sarah Austin
in the 1871 census, although the year is 5 years differant
Ernest James Austin Exton 1868
Augustus W. Exton 1869
living Lambs Inn Ryde in the 1881 census with parents Henry and Mary Exton.
I hope this helps other researchers, I feel I have done enough with this line myself for now,but would be glad to know of any links to other researchers lines, I have lots of other female lines to research also.
