Locked lookup offer

Hi can anyone tell me why when I posted a lookup offer it was locked by a "LittleNell"? Have I done something wrong?

Not at all!  It is very generous of you to offer.

The Moderators lock all Offers as a matter of course.

We ask that RootsChatters who want a look-up post their request in the usual way - perhaps adding something in the title to suggest whose offer it is - for example the title might read "For Traceyking - request xxx"

In the past people have offered look-ups and then for whatever reason have been unable to respond to requests, so this way anyone with access to the resources can reply and we don't end up with a lot of unhappy customers
