NOTE:
  • These transcripts are un indexed  so as much information as possible would be appreciated - especially an approximate date
  • I have provided a transcription for some years on the GenUKI site http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/wal/MER/maentwrog/BTs/index.html Please check there before requesting a lookup
  • Many years are missing and some are so poor that they are impossible to read
  • Many Welsh people were nonconformists, so they did not use the parish church and their details will not be included in the Bishop's Transcripts
