Electoral Rolls - Bromley

Hi can anyone tell me whether it is possible to access electoral registers for Downham, Bromley, and if so how I go about it?  I am trying to locate some family members who lived in the area in the 1970's.  I have looked at the BT phone book via the web hoping that the children would still be living in the area but have had no luck with this method.

Bromley local studies may have what you are looking for although do be aware that electoral registers are not usually indexed by name so it could involve quite a long search if you don't have an exact address.

http://www.bromley.gov.uk/libraries/librariesintheborough/local_studies_library.htm

Alternatively, http://www.192.com/ have electoral registers 2002-2008 (unless persons have opted out of the printed register).  Although pay per view, it is much easier to locate living persons if this is your quest.
