I am looking for the family of my GG grandmother who was born in Mile End in 1816. She married Thomas Wood in 1838 but I do not know who her family are.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As you said she married Thomas Wood in June 1838, if you get a copy of the marriage cert (ref Number below) You would get Mary Lindsey's fathers name
and then it might be easier to get details on her side of your tree...
