Hello Cathy,

Had a good trawl in the IGI - no record there - only the birth of their son John Stewart on 25 Aug 1791 in Cortachy and Clova, Angus. 

(You may want to post your message on the Angus board).

I'll go and see if I can find them on Scotlands People. (Couldn't find them there - but that's no guarantee they weren' t married.
