I,m puzzled where are my replies

Pleas help me . I have afew questions on the roots chats and so many like people are helping me but I read their replies and I then press reply and thank them and answer their questions if any, then press post button at the bottom of the message.but when I go back to the section that my first  request is e.g. Common room my replies do not show following  the look ups people have done for me  and so I feel I,m not showing my gratatude and would like my replies shown to others that may be able to help me.  They seem to go only  to one person instead of to all to see.Gee I hope I have got my message over.  I love this chat site  Many thanks Wegsgirl
