Trowbridge museum are trying to find out who this lady is. Maybe someone on here could enlighten them.

It seems that the Museum may have some more info on this picture now. The artist was probably Eden Upton Eddis 1812 - 1901. He painted portraits of the leading figres of the time. The lady in the portrait may be Joanna Turner of the United Church. They are now trying to find out a little more about the lady herself. Maybe she is one of yours, if so Trowbridge Museum would love to hear from you.
