Could someone please try to find for me Charles Hart age in 1901 would be about 11 born East Dean / Westbury on Severn

Nobody with that birthplace on the 1901 - only one Charles Hart in Gloucs b Preding 1889 according to the index but when I checked the image he was actually 19 and a mariner

Who were his parents?  I see he was with his Hart grandparents in 1891

Have you checked the 1901 index which is free at www.1901census.nationalarchives.gov.uk  for any likely candidates and we can then check the entry for you

Found him transcribed as HARL as image looks that way - he is aged 11 and still  living with grandmother Sophia now widowed. His birthplace is shown as Popes hill

I wonder if daughter Rosey (1891) was his mother?

There is a marriage June qtr 1898 on freebmd for Rosa Bella Hart to George Wellavize Westbury S  6A  481

In 1901 they are living with Sophia

George Wellavize 42 b Arlingham
Rosabella 39 b Broad Oak
Olive 8 b Arlingham

Thank you Carol for that Roseabella was Charles  Aunt his father was Walter the son of Sophia his mother Emma died when she had him and his father went on to marry her sister Eva,that was why he was living with his grandparents in 1891
