FreeBMD is a well known search site that we use all the time. Not everyone knows about its sister site FreeCEN which aims to provide a similar FREE search routine for the Censuses. It's a good alternative to Ancestry, and often has more accurate listings.
We are always looking for new volunteers to help transcribe from the original sheets and make the database complete. If you've received help from other researchers in the past (and who hasn't?), could you give some time to this project, and make your contribution to the world of Family Research?
We are particularly interested in hearing from people with an interest in the Sussex censuses - you might even be able to choose to work on a village where you have connections.
