Hello me again

on IGI there is a Marriage for William Rowley and Susannah Hart 23 March 1823 at Stanstead Abbots Hertfordshire

Susan could be the Susannah after all  if her age was rounded down on the 1841 Census.

What do you think

HI Pam
Thank's very much for your replies. I had found the the family on the the 1841 Census in Cheshnut Herts, they are also on the IGI born in Cheshnut, my concern is that he gives STANDON as his birth place on 1851, 1861, 1871, Censuses.
But checking on the distance between the two places it is only about 15 miles.
Are you familiar with the area if so , could it be that Standon was in the Parish of Cheshnut ?.

Hi Pughy

Standon and Cheshunt were separate parishes.

Cheshunt
http://www.hertfordshire-genealogy.co.uk/data/places/cheshunt.htm

Standon
http://www.hertfordshire-genealogy.co.uk/data/places/standon.htm

As is Stanstead Abbotts
http://www.hertfordshire-genealogy.co.uk/data/places/stanstead-abbots.htm

The family of ROWLEYS baptized at Cheshunt (inlcuding John) may be yours.  ROWLEY is quite an unusual name, and folk did move about, however, it might also be a co-incidence.  I would have thought that to be certain you would need a lookup from the Standon Parish Records. These are available from HALS

The Standon Parish films are also available for hire and viewing at any LDS Family History Centre worldwide.
