Edward Horseley c1750 - Carlisle
« on: Sunday 10 February 08 15:57 GMT (UK) »

Hi
I'm trying to track the parentage of one Edward Horseley b c1750 in Carlisle.  I have been through the IGI's batch transcripts and have found his marriage to Susanna Mason at St Mary's in Carlisle, 30/03/1774.  I have also located all his children on the IGI transcripts.  (They are John b 1774, Edward b 1776, Stephen b 1778, William b 1782 and George b 1785).

If anyone has info on either Edward or indeed his wife Susanna it would be greatly appreciated.

Regards

Steph

Steph
These only match on surnames but it's possible you would be interested.

There is a marriage licence for Anne Horsley (nee Pears) widow of St Cuthberts Carlisle in 1739 and one for Mary Horsley spinster of Turpenhow (Ralph Horsley yeoman is the bondsman) in 1759.

regards
Deborah

Don't know whether it's Deborah's typo or the record but that should be Torpenhow (pronounced Trepennah) if you are looking for other records.
