Hi All,
Hopefully this will not contravene the rules of this site.

I have set up the above "Message Board",  the purpose of which is to concentrate, not on genealogy for which there are an abundance of good sites, but on Adoption issues, adoptees, searching for birth parents, useful web sites.

If you have life experiences in adoption or searching for birth relatives and could offer sound help and advice to those just starting off then please join up as without you the Message Board will not take off.

As I said there are many good genealogy sites on the web and although they cover adoption to some extent I feel that there may be a need for one which does only that. Nothing more, nothing less. Provide sound advice, factual information and pointers to good websites and Family Tracing Services.

So many times I have seen people commencing their search become quickly frustrated because the answers they seek are not coming fast enough.  The hope is that there will be sufficient information on the Board that if read, will answer many of the questions posed before they click the mouse.
