could anyone help, i have spent 28 years looking for info of sarah ann saunders b keynsham 1782
she married a joseph taylor b 1789 portishead area they married on 25-11-1811 at st augustines the less bristol, joseph was born the portishead/pill st george area a mariner, he died at age 39 on the 20-10-1828 she then married a henry mitchell any info on sarah and her parents also joseph and his parants would be appreciated, thank you for your interest, kali.

Found the Sarah Mitchell as wife of a farmer - not the one-eyed anchor smith !
She was a game gal and saw him out as well. Still going strong in 1871 at 88 - when did she finally expire?

well first let me welcome you to rootschat derick, sarah died 27-1-1887 at portishead her parents were captain james and mary saunders from keynsham, sarah married a joseph taylor he died
20- 10-1828 she then married a henry mitchell, although they are always in portishead i believe the taylors were from pill st george, the henry mitchell we are talking about was considerably younger than sarah, she married joseph taylor 25-11-1811 at st augustine the less bristol, it is the taylors i would love to find more about

Thanks for the welcome -I'm pretty new on this board. I don't have much info on the Somerset area - yet - but I am learning fast.
That makes Sarah at least 104 when she died - was it the sea air?
