C.M Merricks before coming to NZ

Hi everyone.

My cousin has applied for the marriage cert, lets hope it is them.  Found a Elizabeth Merricks who died at the age of 38 in 1906 Birmingham, very much the right age, but not jumping into getting cert at the moment, will wait and see what comes with the marriage cert first.
I did notice there were a few Elizabeth Wilsons born in and around 1868 in Ireland, just need to find which area she came from. (Hope the marriage cert has all of this)
Their son George was about 8 mths when Lizzie and George got married, I wonder if she was Catholic?  Both could of came back to Ireland for their marriage to keep her family happy.
Here's crossing fingers and toes, that finally we found them.

Kind regards
Suzy W

The marriage certificate will give Lizzie's residence at the time of the marriage and should also list her father's name and occupation. Age will be listed as 'full age' rather than giving her birthdate or age in years.
Since the marriage took place in a Church of Ireland and Wilson is usually a Protestant name I'm guessing that Lizzie wasn't Catholic but one can never be 100% sure.
