In census records states he was born in Breedon, Gloucestershire. He lived in Worcestershire so I'm slightly unsure if Breedon is in Gloucestershire or Worcestershire.
Frederick Rammell , b abt 1806.
Can anyone look this up please?
Its an important tie to the rest of the family so any help is appreciated.

I think you will find that it is practically on the border of the two counties, it shows up as being in Worcertershire, but it may have been one of those places affected by county boundary changes. Take a look at the map here.

Bredon is right on the border, but Genuki places it in Worcestershire. Why not try a message on the Worcs. board and see what comes up?

Right, there is no record of him in Bredon, so it looks like the census is wrong. However in another Census (1851) it says Oxenton, Glucestershire.
Can anyone look up this parish???

If you look on the GENUKI Oxenton entry, you will find a link to William Good's transcription of the Parish Registers, but I can't see your Frederick's baptism there, I'm afraid.
If you are not familiar with GENUKI, just Google it, then select United Kingdom & Ireland/ England/Gloucestershire/Town & Parishes/Oxenton, and look under the heading Church Records.
The only name even slightly close to Frederick is a Frederic Attwood, son of Elizabeth Thornbury baptised 22 Nov 1807.

I did actually have a look on genuki but I wasnt sure if that was an exhaustive list.
Frederick is becoming a bit elusive......
I think his parents were Samuel Rammell and Hannah Holling, but would really like to see a birth record to know this for sure.
