Found these...
Marriages Jun 1845
Annis Elizabeth Stoke Daml 9 500
but not clear who she married - there are 4 possible men there!
Marriages Sep 1849
Annis Elizabeth Stoke Damerell 9 496
and another 4 men here too 
Henry & Elizabeth's daughter, Florence was married to John Paris Sellers and they were my paternal great grandparents so I feel somewhat personally attached to poor Henry Snr! We have never got any money either!!! Thank goodness the Workhouses are past tense!

there is an Eliza on the 1851 married to a Samuel Annis living at Stoke Damerel, of about the right age

I have just rechecked the 1841 and I think that Henry (b 1840) , his sister is MARIA and not Mary A ...which it looks like at first glance. The 'Y" for mary is not there ... it looks like this with a space between the 'i' and 'a' ...Mari a
So I think the death you found was for his sister ..ie; Maria Annis , Dec 1851
will see if I can see her on the 1851
