Hey there

I wonder if anyone out there would be able to help me solve another mystery (sigh..there are so many)

Elizabeth Finlayson (nee Hope) was married to David Finlayson, residing at No. 18 West Richmond Street Edinburgh on the 1841 census, along with their two sons Graham and James.

Sadly I can not trace either Elizabeth or James on the 1851 census, and David moves to England and it says 'widower'

I have searched the Scotland site, but deaths can not be searched before 1855 (unless anyone else can put me right and show me where)

So I suspect that she died perhaps with James between 1841 - 1851.

She was born 17/1/1822 and her parents were Lt. James Hope, and Elizabeth Reid
