I have posted before on this subject, but really don't know where to go anymore. 
Robert Stewart ? anywhere between 1822 and 1831.
o.k. he died 10 Jul 1908 Kilmadock, Perthshire, parents listed as Robert Stewart and Ann Denovan.
Robert and Ann married 01/10/1821 St Ninians. (SP)
A search of SP for children of this marriage have only produced Duncan Stewart 29/12/1829 St Cuthberts Edinburgh.
Jessy Graham Henderson Stewart 17/04/1833 St Cuthberts.
Robert Stewart married Jane Ferguson in Glasgow 04 Dec 1853 (of course, no parents listed in parish records).
Informant on his death cert son-in-law Peter McGregor Stewart.
Is there a possibility that his name was actually Duncan and he took his father's name Robert....I just don't know and it's driving me crazy 
Can anyone help PLEASE, or any suggestions ...
