Stewart/Denovan
« on: Thursday 14 February 08 00:52 UTC (UK) »

I have posted before on this subject, but really don't know where to go anymore. Huh
Robert Stewart ? anywhere between 1822 and 1831.
o.k. he died 10 Jul 1908 Kilmadock, Perthshire, parents listed as Robert Stewart and Ann Denovan.
Robert and Ann married 01/10/1821 St Ninians. (SP)
A search of SP for children of this marriage have only produced Duncan Stewart 29/12/1829 St Cuthberts Edinburgh.
Jessy Graham Henderson Stewart 17/04/1833 St Cuthberts.

Robert Stewart married Jane Ferguson in Glasgow 04 Dec 1853 (of course, no parents listed in parish records).

Informant on his death cert son-in-law Peter McGregor Stewart.

Is there a possibility that his name was actually Duncan and he took his father's name Robert....I just don't know and it's driving me crazy  Shocked

Can anyone help PLEASE, or any suggestions ...
