Can anyone help I am looking for a birth of John Wilson born Chapel-on-le- Frith Derby..... circa 1777.

Hi Ken,
Tried IGI (as I'm sure you have) + a couple of other sites with information re, Derbyshire, but without success.
However, I see they have the parish register, showing baptism at Chapel en le Frith starting from 1620, at the Society of Genealogists in London.     www.sog.org.uk - see catalogue.
If you can't get yourself maybe you could ask, on a post, in case anyone is visiting and will be kind enough to look for you.
