Hi Dunmac,
Thank you for taking the time to look that up for me, but unfortunatley it isn't the correct ROBERTSON family. On Sunday I finally found her marr certificate, 21 August 1903, online, and it gives her parents as Joseph Robertson and Isabella Watson and the address of 9 Middle ST Grangemouth.
I dont know WHY I couldnt find this before. I tried lots of diff spellings, locations etc, and suddenly on Sunday.. pop.. there it is. Stunned, I think is the expression. I haven't found anything else as yet.
Im sorry I didnt get back to the post to update it before you searched for me, but thank you very much for trying.
David

1891 Census, 9 Middle Street Grangemouth, Stirlingshire. CSSCT1891_50:
William Douglas Boarder, 28. Watter(Walter) Gardner Boarder, 25. William McLean Boarder, 19. Margaret Robertson, Daughter In law? 8, Scholar, Grangemouth, Stirlingshire. Isabella Robertson, Wife, 32, Falkirk, Stirlingshire. Joseph Robertson, Head, 34, Dock Labourer, Grangemouth, Stirlingshire. Robert Robertson, Son, 2, Grangemouth, Stirlingshire. Catherine Watson, Sister In Law, 16, General Domestic Servant, Falkirk, Stirlingshire. Thomas Watson, 18, Brother In Law, Dock Labourer, Falkirk, Stirlingshire.
This makes Margaret child of Isabella Watson of Falkirk who married or lived with Joseph Robertson of Grangemouth, ? Widow, remarried or child illegitimate? Hope it's not a can of worms to open! Bodach, Cannot find 1901 Census, were they in Glasgow by then? Let me know how you get on. Regards, Dunmac. P.S. Possibly connected to the other Robertson families above?

Hi Bodach, 1861 Census, Falkirk, Landward, Grangemouth, Stirlingshire, 3 Back Middle Street. CSSCT1861_64: Isabella Watson, Dau'r, 4, Grangemouth, Stirlingshire. (Margaret's Mother) Alexander Watson, Son, 10months, Falkirk, Stirlingshire. Isabella Watson, Wife, 32, Blacksmith's Wife, Dulle, Perthshire. Hi Dunmac.. ty again for this..
More info... I have found her birth cert, 29 Mar 1883, and it states that her parents are Joseph and Isabella. So the census is possibly wrong. Error by the census taker? I hope... Dont know why all of a sudden I start finding her information after all this time.
Dont know where they all moved to but Margaret and James Innes moved to Glasgow as he worked here on the railways. I dont know anything about her Robertson family yet.. but I will keep those details you found for me, just incase.
Thanks again
David
Correct Address for family 9 Middle Street, Correct names just the Daughter In Law might be iffy for Margaret instead of plain Daughter. Her mother Isabella Watson has lived in Grangemouth, since at least 1861, next Census found and her parents come from Perthshire, happy hunting. Duncan.
