Hi there,

I have a John Gould aged 6 in the 1851 England Census listed as son in the household of Charles and Mary Rabbets, living at Cann, Dorset.
I am looking for his baptism to see whether Mary perhaps had this child with another man.  She was born in Edinburgh and would have been 17 years when she had John.  Pure conjecture presumes that perhaps she fell pregnant while in Scotland, and her parents sent her to England to have the baby.
If anyone is able to find his baptism record showing his parents names, I would be most appreciative.

You could send for his birth certificate.
