Can anyone point me in the direction of those Crewe and Nantwich Railway employees who gave their lives in the Great War.  Thanks.  Ray.

Hi Ray
I have a good search but cant find anything, but i did find the massive list of holdings that  the Crew F.H.S. have.It is an old  Tex only page with no contact number,i would think this would be the best place to inquire. If you can find if they have a website it might give you a start

- Memorial to driver W A OAKES, Crewe Railway Station
- War Memorial
- War Memorial, Co-operative Society
- War Memorial, LNWR Steam Sheds
- War Memorial, Railway Tranship Shed

Annie/Celia.  Thanks for your prompt replies.  I am a member of the Cheshire FHS (Runcorn Branch) My quest is to find a memorial to the employees of the L & N.W.R. who gave their lives in the Great War.  I will contact the Crewe Branch of the CFHS to see if they can help.  Until you mentioned it I had not given the idea any thought.  Well done.  I feel progress coming on.   Ray.
