I'm looking for a death record for Caroline Kipp (nee Banse) who died 30th October 1848 at sea on the ship "George Washington".  Also her daughter Sophie Kipp who died 6th November 1848.

The GEORGE WASHINGTON left Bremen, Germany on the 24th October 1848 and arrived Port Adelaide 2nd March 1849.  I assume it went via Cape Town where possibly the deaths were registered there.
