I have an interest in Charles Wm Wiggins born Harlaston, Staffordshire Dec Qtr 1899 born to Alfred Wiggins and Sarah Sykes?
Alfred Wiggins was born in Shilton, Oxfordshire Dec Qtr 1860 and I believe he married Sarah Sykes who was born in Holwell Jun Qtr 1862.
On the 1901 census the family was living in Harlaston in the dist of Tamworth: Alfred Snr is aged 40, Sarah is aged 38, Edith is aged 8 & born Burford, Alfred Jnr is aged 6 and born Burford, Henry is aged 5 and born Tew, Arthur Geo is aged 3 and born Coleshill, Warwickshire & Charles Wm is aged 1 born Harlaston.
I have found another son, Wilfred James Wiggins born Jun Qtr 1903 & registered in Tamworth. Alfred Snr died aged 45 in 1905 - also registered Tamworth.
Charles Wm Wiggins went on to marry Jessie Armit from Shotts, Lanarkshire, Scotland in Maney in 1927. Jessie was born in Old Monkland in Scotland in 1902. By 1921 both of her parents were deceased - 2 sisters Chrissie & Georgia went with their older brother to live in Canada and Jessie stayed behind in Scotland with an aunt and sometime between 1921 & 1927 made her way to Warwickshire where she met and married Charles Wiggins. The two witnesses were Charles' brothers, Arthur & Wilfred.
I have contact with families of the two sisters who went to Canada and they would like to find members of Jessie's family in England.
Would anyone please be able to help me with my brickwall? Any help would be appreciated.
Regards,
Heather.
