Hi

Further to my earlier posting about James Brodie, I am trying to pinpoint his mother and grandmother's details. James' mother was Ann Brown and according to her death cert in 1901 she was the daughter of James Brown and Margaret Miller but I can find no record of a marriage between James and Margaret. The only marriage is between James and Margaret Garson. Is this the correct one?

Also, James' father was John Brodie, son of John Brodie and Euphemia Miller. Can anyone help pinpoint these marriages?

The family were all from Stronsay as far as I can determine.
