Could some kind person possibly find the reference number for the birth of Violet lloyd Daniel. The date I have is 1863, born in Middlesex (although one census does say St Pancras) Father Robert Daniel.
I have looked on BMD and cannot find her, I would like to send for her birth certificate.

Violet and Lily might be registered as "female" - there are one or two possibilities, but nothing obvious...

Have been out all day, so just caught up with all the postings.
Firstly thank you all so much for all the time and effort you have put in to find all this information.
Robert was actually married to Mary Rinder first and they had a daughter Elizabeth Lloyd Daniel (my GGGrandmother)Elizabeth was born in Paddington in 1851. Lloyd was Roberts mothers maiden name.
Then I think Mary died in 1862...I have ordered a copy of her death certificate to try to confirm this. Robert then had a daughter Violet in 1863 and he called her Lloyd as well, which I found strange and on all the census records she is referred to as a Daniel, as is Lily. Then there is a gap of 5 years before Edith is born and from then on the children are called Albon, even though Priscillla and Robert were not married.
So one of the reasons I sent for a copy of Marys death certificate was to confirm that is is my Mary, and that she did die in 1862, and the reason I wanted to send for Violets was to find out who her mother was.
I hate to ask this but....if I cannot get a reference for Violets birth, I wonder if I could get one for Lilys birth as they were the two eldest after Mary died and there is only 2 years between them, Lily is sometimes spelt Lillie I noticed.
So to summerise, I really want to know why the two eldest after Elizabeth Loyd were called Daniel and the other were called Albon.
I also know that after her mothers death Elizabeth came back to Leeds where her father was born and she was brought up by her Aunt Mary...Roberts sister. My aunt who is 90 can remember her Grandmother Elizabeth and she always thought Grandma Elizabeth was an only child, so presumably she had nothing to do with her half sisters.
A complicated story and it fascinates me, I would just love to get to the bottom of it.
So if anyone can find a birth reference for Lily, I could go down that road.
