Found this guy on 1861 at Burtonwood
John CAREY 40 Ag Lab
Mary  38
PAtrick 17   Ag Lab
Michael  6

Ellen  1
Father mother and Patrick all born in Ireland the remaining siblings all born in Burtonwood
There were also 2 boarders: Michael  GLYNN 59 (a Joiner) & Peter SLATTERY 20 (ag lab) both born in Ireland.

Hi Jo.

I have not received my gr grandparents marriage certificate, found out now what there fathers name was.  Michael Carey's father was John Carey, and yes it looks like he was born in Ireland, this is the only John Carey that keeps cropping up.
