1851 Census - Thomas Garner? COMPLETED with thanks.
« on: Thursday 21 February 08 10:01 GMT (UK) »

I have the family of Thomas Garner, aged 7 in the 1851 Census but he is not with them.

Could someone kindly look up for me to see if there is a record of where he was on census day 1851?  I know he was alive as he is in the 1861 census aged 17, a printer,  but no sign in 1851.  Maybe he was with some other family members as a visitor.  He was born in Liverpool.

Many thanks.

Thank you Sue,
Yes that is the right family and that is him - well, I 'm not sure why I didn't have him on the 1851 census then!  I must have copied it down carelessly.

Many thanks for clearing that up for me,
Kate.
