I need a bit of help in locating this chap, can anyone help please.
Daniel Pitt
His wife Ann (born about 1807) I have on the 1841, 1851, 1861, 1871 and 1881 censues.
1841 In Chiswick with children (HO 107 689 3)
1851 In Chiswick with children but as a lodger (HO 107 1699) The youngest child is a Louisa aged one born in Chiswick, so I guess Daniel must have been around at least for 1850 ish. (if this is indeed his child)
I have a baptism for Abel Pitt (the eldest child on the 1841) in Wiltshire 1825 son of a Daniel and Ann. Ann was born in Wiltshire, I have not found a marriage for them and I do not know where Daniel was born.
Any suggestions please?
Many thanks Ewan

Thanks for the help in hunting for Daniel and your reply.
I have since discovered on the 1861 census that Louisa Pitt aged 11 is living with a family that includes her mum Martha, who could be Ann and Daniel's daughter. Therefore making Louisa the grand daughter of Ann Pitt that I have found on the 1851 census. So possibly Daniel could have died before the 1841 census.
Thanks Ewan

To let you know that the Daniel Pitt found in Devon on a convict hulk was the husband of Ann Pitt living in Chiswick on the 1841. He was transported for 14 years for stealing a horse
Finding this information out has literally as good as confirmed where my Maria Lewis was baptised (for those of you who followed the story last year).
Thank you for finding 'one Daniel Pitt' for me Sue. Ewan
