Have I found Comfort ? ?

  Hi all .....

 I have now gone back to my Favel/ Favell family from Leighton Buzzard and have tracked all of my 3x great grandfathers siblings  bar 1.....or have I found her . I am after considered opinions as to whether it is her or ....has Tazzie finally lost it .....

  I have Comfort Favel......

  1841 b @ 1836 Bucks  living Little Brickhill HO107/56 F 8 PAGE 9 LINE25

  1851 b @ 1836 Southill                             H0107/1756 F 158 P 31

  Now we have.... Emma Atkins ? ?

  1861     RG9/1013 f 9 p12  in Luton.

  What I am asking is .......DO you think this is Comfort all the way through or does she re- appear from 1871 onwards?

Hi Tati....

  The age is consistantly wrong by the same amount. I cannot find a marriage so will accept they never did. Cyril Betram is reg as Favell marries as Atkins......  it all fits ....but she is really covering her tracks so now you know .......was I seeing what I wanted to see or as you agree I have finally found her Smiley

I don't recall anyone who over the full range of censuses gives a completely different birthplace EVERY time. I think the most accurate is probably 1901 - N/K!

Have you found baptisms for Comfort or any of her siblings?

As Cyril is shown as grandson in 1891/1901 are you saying he was actually Comfort's son?

Let me work on it. I've not yet convinced myself. What worries me is that Comfort always gives Beds/Bucks/NK whereas Emma gives Peterborough/Ramsey.

   Hi David .....

  Comfort and siblings are correct 1841/1851   I do not have her birth confirmed as Southill. Brother James is b Biggleswade. We have covered him before .

  I do not get the name changes either but can guess they did not marry hence Favell to Atkins changes and then back....but why change first name?
As for Cyril he may be the son of Emily or Florence some I will gamble on getting that cert.
