Hi all,
I'm having great difficulty finding the birth of this relative, and finding his parents:
Frank ROBINSON, son of Joseph ROBINSON, was born in 1846 in Walkringham, Nottinghamshire. He appeared in the census on 2 April 1871 in Shipton, Yorkshire. On 2 April 1871 he was a General servant on a farm in Shipton. On 14 January 1872 he was resident in 45 Alfred Street, North Ormesby, Yorkshire. He married Louisa COOK on 14 January 1872 in The Parish Church, North Ormsby, Yorkshire in the presence of John Cook and Margaret Cook. On 3 April 1881 he was an Agricultural Labourer in West Pelton, Durham. He and Louisa COOK appeared in the census on 3 April 1881 in West Pelton. On 7 August 1887 he was a Farm Hand in The Grange Wingate, Durham. On 5 April 1891 he was a Quarryman in Old Wingate, Durham. He and Louisa COOK appeared in the census on 5 April 1891 in Old Wingate. On 31 March 1901 he was a Horsekeeper in limestone quarry in Wingate, Durham. He and Louisa COOK appeared in the census on 31 March 1901 in Old Wingate, Wingate, Durham. He died of I. Bronchitis 4 Days II. Heart Failure on 14 February 1919 in East Pasture Farm, West Cornforth, Cornforth, Durham.

Hi,
There's a birth for a Frank Robinson Sep 1845 in Doncaster (see FreeBMD). I believe this is the district covering Walkeringham. Hope this helps,

I think that's a different Frank, he's in later Doncaster census.
This Frank is b. Notts in later census - the place Walkeringham (Notts) near Gainsborough (Lincolnshire), should come under Gainsborough reg district
There are two births for a male (unnamed) Robinson in Gainsborough Dec 1845 Gainsboro 14/319 and Sep Qu 1846 Gainsboro 14/313, so perhaps he is one of these

Thanks,
I'll check out those un-named male births...
