Swalcliffe & Shennington Graveyards & MI's

Is there anyone who lives near either Swalcliffe or Shennington churches, who fancies a walk in the sunshine one day,  who could wander round the graveyards and see if they can find any gravestones for the Horsman / Horseman family.  The men of the family were stonemasons, so I would have hoped that they could knock up a headstone for their dear departed.

Alternatively - does anyone know if the MI's have been recorded.  I cant see them on the OFHS site,  but sometimes the WI have done them.

I was in the research centre in Oxford today and looked at the MI's but Swalcliffe and Shennington were not there.

Hi Heathers,

I've just found your post.

I live near Swalcliffe  (pronounced Swaycliffe),  so I could have a walk and look round the church and churchyard for you.   Roll Eyes

Anything else you need while I'm there?   

It may not be this weekend though, the weather forecast is awful !!!   Shocked

Try Alkerton & Shennington. They are adjoining villages that I think share the same church.
