I think she was probably in the Bidston area of the Wirral.
Nancy was b c 1827 in Arrow (daughter of Stephen Sherlock & Alice nee Hindley); she had an illegitimate daughter in 1843 who was baptised in Bidston, and six months later Nancy was buried in Bidston. Some of the family 'Nancys' get shown as Ann or even Hannah.
Hope someone can find her for me
Cheers, Chris

It's certainly possible - I will check my notes (on a different computer which is currently playing up !), cos I have a feeling I might have 'allocated' this one to another Ann !!

Thanks for this - my Wirral geography isn't brilliant, but isn't Thurstaston quite close to Bidston (nearer than West Kirby, for example) ?

I've had a quick look at multimap, and Bidston is actually nearer to West Kirby than Thursaston ! Shows how much I knew !!
I've printed out a map of the area so I can see where everyone was in relation to everyone else !
Thanks for all help Cheers, Chris
