Leaving school in the mid 1860's?
« on: Saturday 23 February 08 18:45 GMT (UK) »

Hi everyone,

I want to find out the likely age of a young lad leaving school from Mr John L Young's Educational Institute at Parkside South Australia.  The answer will help put other bits and pieces in place,

Thank you in hope,
Regards abiam

Abiam, the Manning Index from the State Library of South Australia has reference to this school
http://www.slsa.sa.gov.au/manning/sa/edu/comments.htm. I am not sure how much information they would have, but they have a contact page where you can ask for help.

They have an electronic enquiry form at
