Parish of Iona - Marriage - MacInnes/McInnes
« on: Sunday 24 February 08 11:55 GMT (UK) »

Hi,

I have combed through OPR records on Scotlandspeople and Mull Genealogy sites searching for the following marriage without success.

Alexander MacInnes (born Kilninian according to 1851 Census)
Ann McInnes (born Iona, possibly Isle of Iona)

I anticipate the marriage to be about 1828-1831. (Their first born was May 1831.)

Regards

Hello

Just had a look on the IGI www.familysearch.org - can't find any sign of the marriage there - searched from 1800 to 1840.

Only record of the 3 girls born,  Mary in 1831, Ann in 1834, and Flora in 1839.

Thanks Steve,

I have Alexander, Ann and all children sorted since 1831.

Now drilling back to the marriage of Alexander (born abt 1800) and Ann (born 1812) and their baptismal records.

Fingers crossed something will turn up.
