Does anyone have any records -or can trace- members of the SIMMONDS family in Presteigne area around 1880s/1900s please - a bit vague I know but I have to start this search from very little information!

There is this couple living there in 1861 ..

1861 census:
RG9/4232; Folio 90, Page 24

Herefordshire, Presteigne

James Simmonds, h. mar, 30, Gardner, b. Moreton, Herefordshire
Mary, wife, mar, 40, b. Herefordshire

Not a lot else I'm afraid for that particular place .. ?
