I think this would be a very good idea as there is a Kate Burrows born 1856 Stroud on the 1871 census with parents William and Ann as well as the KingStanley Kate still with parents William and Sarah
There are 2 marriages registered
Kate Burroughs marrying qrt ending Dec 1875 Stroud which may be to Albert Beard
Kate Ellen Burroughs marrying qrt ending June 1879 Stroud possibly to either John Mabbett or Henry Gleed
So far, I can't see the Burrows/Burroughs family from Stroud on the 1861 census
If you know she definitely married Albert Beard(this is how he is registered - not Charles Albert) you should get her parents and be able to sort out Mum's name.
This what the 1881 census shows - which causes more confusion
Kate Beard born 1856 Stroud, Gloucestershire, husband - Albert, living Kingstanley, Gloucestershire
Kate C. Smeed born 1856 Stroud, Gloucestershire - husband Horace living Margate St John Baptist, Kent
