James Woodward - Stowe

I'm now in search of this chap's baptism.
It was revealed on his marriage in Winslow that he came from Stowe and he would have been born around 1780.
Can anyone help me on this one please?

   James Woodward bapt 22 Oct 1780
     son of Edward Woodward & Mary his wife.

   some siblings I saw ...Ann July 11 1779
                                Susannah Sept 14 1783
                                Martha    May 23 1785

  parents marriage.....

  Edward Woodward bach otp
  Mary Poynor  spins otp    by Lic.
  25 Aug 1778
   both signed their own names
   witnessess..... John Smith
                          William Mander.

That's brilliant Tassie, thank you. I assume Edward and Mary were married in Stowe parish church?

I find it a bit unsettling that the children's names are not repeated in the next generation where Henry, Lucy Frances and Margret Sophia appear.  Could they be in the Poynor family I wonder?

    Could be from the other side ....sometimes you have a run on a name in a village.  Names became popular came across some looking for a Hannah in Mursley to tie in for a marriage still none the wiser now .

It may be a complete red herring but I have an Esther Woodward who married Alexander Sheen in Thornton in 1780 which is about eight miles from Stowe.

Alexander's father William Sheen was born in Stowe in 1716.
