Killearn on Red Castle ,Parish
« on: Tuesday 26 February 08 16:38 GMT (UK) »

I think I've found the OPR marriage record of Donald Fraser and Mary McIntosh in Kirkhill, Inverness dated 20/2/1850 which would tie in with my estimate of thier DOB
However it refers to a "Parish of Killearn on Red Castle"as being Mary's parish
Does this mean anything to anyone?

Thanks for that I have another problem :- Up in Inverness at that time there were lots of Frasers marrying lots of McIntosh's
I am trying to verify that the marriage of Don'd (Donald) Fraser and Mary McIntosh on 20/2/1850 resulted in son William Fraser born Inverness or Invernss-shire about 1864 according to the 1891 census for Millerston at Hogganfield North West Lanarkshire (Glasgow now)
There are tons of Fraser/ McIntosh marriages in Scotspeople.com OPRs
Any advice on how to proceed
Got parents names from Wm's Marriage cert
Ive checked out several Birth certs and Census for both their parishes but to no avail can't get the right parents.
