Hi all,

I have my ancestor John ROBSON in the 1851, 1861 and 1871 censuses but have never been able to find him in the 1841 census. Is there anyone who can help find him?

Here's what I have:

1851 (Southwick, Sunderland)
John Robson | Head | Married | 35 | Joiner | born South Shields

1861 (Southwick, Sunderland)
John Robson | Head| Widower | 46 | Joiner | born South Shields

1871 (Southwick, Sunderland)
John Robson | Head| Widower | 57 | House & Ship Joiner | born South Shields

Also, his first three children born in 1839, 1840 and 1843 were all born in South Shields so he musy have been there at the time of the 1841 census.
