It certaily looks like Molly folks. As I didn't state she was a member of her local theatrical group in Scotland, the term "professional artist" clinches it for me.

Molly's father James was one of four brothers, all Masters (Captain) in the British Merchant Navy. James and Peter were lost during Second World War while William and Edward (my grandfather) survived.
The eldest brother Robert was lost on 16 Jun 1915 at Ypres. His remains were never found and he is commemorated on Panels 19 and 33 of the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, Belgium.

I have located extended family in Queensland, see http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,233105.0.html .
Our g-g-g-grandfathers were brothers! Their ancestors came to Queensland around 1882 while mine stayed in Ayrshire.
However, my enquiry at above link still remains!

I believe he does not know a lot about his McCREADIE ancestors but dare say he will be able to make a positive contribution to our collective genealogy. I will offer all my research as, after all, our grandfathers were brothers!
