Hiya Gadget

I think that is probably the right certificate so I will send off for it

Is there anywhere I can search the Scottish BMDs - they don't come up on Ancestry

Think I mentioned them on my first message Willow

It's pay to view but cheap. I got the baptisms from there - cost me 20p  Grin

Ps - specify Harriet Jones rather than John if you're ordering the cert -they've likely got him wrong indexed on the main index.

Will have to check it out it probably is a mistranscript Grin - unless they had an honest enumerator!

Hiya Gadget

Does St Cyrus also go by the name of Marykirk?

No scrap that - there are three Alexanders all married to Isabellas  Roll Eyes
