No John Munsy and harriet on the 1861 census that I can see.

I think that is probably the right certificate so I will send off for it

Is there anywhere I can search the Scottish BMDs - they don't come up on Ancestry

It's pay to view but cheap. I got the baptisms from there - cost me 20p  Grin

Ps - specify Harriet Jones rather than John if you're ordering the cert -they've likely got him wrong indexed on the main index.
