Hi

Would anyone be going to Berkshire Records Office anytime? If so I wonder if you could please look me up some court records?
I have a relative who lived in Newbury Berkshire and was in Reading Jail in 1881. His name was Edward Gibbons and was a Carpenter. He appears on the census as an inmate.

I have been told there was an Edward Gibbons who's case was heard at the assizes in 1851 and it is possible that this person is also a relative.
