Mum and me 2yrs old wished I had asked more

I have been to Belford today to my parents grave and on the way out I noticed a headstone on it is
Elizabeth Gilroy
Belford died 15th Aug 1868 aged 78
Also her husband John Gilroy died 9th Feb not sure if it was 1874-6 aged 84 yrs
As the Gilroy's are in my family I wondered if they were relatives of mine can anyone help me

My Gilroy's came from Carham and Wooler and as Ford is not far from Wooler this family could be mine

Hi Elizabeth,
My g grandfather was a John Gilroy born Adderstone Low Mill in 1871 to a William & Margaret - formerly Davidson - William is a farm labourer. Margaret was born Adderstone Mains. William was born c1815 Whittingham & married Bamburgh & his father John was born c1795 Ford. My G Grandfatehr John Gilroy married a Jane SHORT which i see is also one of your names. She was from Rock - not quite Hollywell but still Northumberland.

I dont know if you saw this reply that Janis gave me some time ago in relation to my query about Gilroys from Belford
In the Belford C of E:
James Gilroy born 23 Jan 1804 bapt 19 Feb 1804 4th son of John Gilroy, labourer, native of Whitingham by his wife Dorothy Cuthbertson native of Alnwick
There's no way of knowing for sure, but I wonder if this is the same John Gilroy from your grave (assuming he married more than once)?
The James Gilroy born 1804 married my GGG grandfather's sister Mary Ann Bolton, somewhere around 1824, theoretically in Belford, although she was born in North Shields.
If you, or anybody (hello Janis  ), have any Belford parish marriage records that can pinpoint the exact date of the marriage, I'd be very grateful.
James & Mary Ann Gilroy spent a brief time at Ebchester, Co Durham, before moving to Tow Law/Wolsingham. He appears in the census records as a gardener.
