I know I may be dim and haven't come across this but is there anyway of searching out members I was chatting to a member in the chat room and found some info for him but other than going back to the chat room and waiting for him to pop in  can i search for his profile and contact him that way?

One way would be if you knew their user name would be to a search for any messages they have posted on the various boards and access their public section profile that way and send them a private message by clicking on the scroll.

There's probably a quicker neater official way ... but if you know the name the above method works.

Thanks for the suggestion I tried that already but I think the person I'm looking for  may not have posted any messages as yet .....I'll just have to wait for our date in the chat room!!!!!

You could always ask one of the moderators to pass on a pm asking the member to contact you .. I'm sure the mods have ways of accessing the membership list

if  the members not there in the chat room Ill try that thanks but wouldn't it be easier to see a list of members and find out what they're researching from a list   (moderators r u watching?Huh?)
