Looking for Birth of Thomas PECK b Inverness abt 1900 Married to Annabel Graham.

Also would like information on Thomas's parents if possible.

Hi Tinkerbell

There is no Thomas Peck showing as born in Inverness-shire 5 yrs either side of 1900 unfortunately.  The only Thomas Peck within the 1900 birth year on the 1901 census is a Thomas Peck b. in Aberdeen in 1898 to a fishing family (English by the look of it). Mother shows as wife of a trawlfisherman (either Ada or Sarah, hard to say which is the mother from the transcript), father away from home...probably out fishing.

Hello Monica & Gadget,

Thank you both for your kind help.....I'm afraid I may have to try & find out a little more about Thomas PECK....as I don't really know where he was born I do know that he married an Inverness woman by the name of Annabel Graham born 1905 Inverness.
Thomas Peck died 1981 Inverness Scotland.

Annabella Graham shown as b. Inverness 1905.

Tinkerbell - you can order the death cert of Thomas which will give his parent's names. Alternatively, I think these might be viewed at the larger Registry Offices in Scotland.

Thomas Arthur Peck, died Inverness in 1976 aged 65

No others in the 1970-1991 period

This cert can be ordered through GROS and will show his parents.

If his age is correct he would have been born circa 1911. No birth showing for him in Invernessshire 1895 - 1914 - just the Aberdeen and Edinburgh ones that have been mentioned.

I believe this is my uncle he was born in 1910 in Newmarket Suffolk, I dont know the reason he went to Inverness perhaps of marrage> I have been doing a family tree and know he married a lady called Annabel Graham, unforunatly no proof , IE records of the above. The dates for his death is about right

Tommy Peck married my Aunt Annobel (Annabella Graham on birth cert).

Thomas Arthur Peck b Newmarket.  Record Q2 1910 Newmarket 3b 468.

Thomas Arthur Peck d 4 Jan 1976 aged 65,  record is GROS 231/00 0011. It will cost £10 for a copy from GROS

After marriage and Tommy left the RAF they lived in Willesden in London but settled in Inverness.

Both buried in Tomnahurich Cemetery Inverness in grave next to Simon and Isabella Graham (Annabella's parents).[/i][i][img][/img]

I hope this is of help...I'm still trying to find marriage, supposedly when Annabella was 42, (1947) it is not in England BMD 1947-1954, so it looks like Inverness!

I was in Inverness recently (August) and had I known then, I could have gone to the Register Office.  As it was I went to the Library in Farraline Park  to search in the Inverness Courier on another matter.
